Black History Month Virtual Wax Museum
Starting in February, Parkview Drama Students have been working hard on a “living” wax museum project to celebrate Black History Month. Their project has been broken up into four different parts:
-
Step 1: Choose a person who inspires you.
-
Step 2: Research the accomplishments of that person
-
Step 3: Write a monologue, or short speech, from the point of view of your chosen person. This speech should introduce your chosen person, and explain the accomplishments of that person.
-
Step 4: Speech Presentation: Memorize your short monologue/speech, and present it as if you are that person. Imagine a statue coming to life! You may dress as your person, or use props to add to your performance. This will be presented in class!

Below, you will find our virtual wax museum, showcasing our 3rd and 5th grade students' monologue performances. Click the buttons to hear each individual presentation!

*all students included in the virtual wax museum have turned in a photo/video consent form. If your student is not featured, and you would like them to be, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page!
